One of my favorite places in San Francisco is Miette. It is a ridiculously cute baked goods and candy store. (They have a few locations but my favorite is the Hayes Valley shop.) When people come to San Francisco its one of the first places I send people. I needed some photos last week and they kindly let us stop in and take some shots. If you get a chance to go some of my favorite things to try are: gourmet whoppers, vanilla macarons, homemade caramels, brown sugar licorice, and the chocolate covered gummy bears. They also have a cookbook and give classes sometimes too!

but have you tried the maltballs?! the best part. when my stepmother was planning my baby shower she asked me what i wanted and all i told her was miette’s maltballs. they’re that good.

I didn’t know they had a candy store! Whenever we visit San Francisco we make a pit stop at Miette in the Ferry Bldg. This location will be on my list for our next visit.

i LOVE Miette. one of my most favorite places, too <3 must try the brown sugar licorice. i stop by the ferry building shoppe, more often, but the hayes valley spot is sooo sweet. it's almost my birthday, and i always make an extra special trip there, every year. can't wait. . and welcome back to the bay!
