A Peek at the Boys’ Room
Moses and Roman’s room is starting to come together. This week I’ve been trying to get stuff off my to do list at home. I hung a bunch of art up on the walls, ordered some shades, installed shelving, ordered fabric to make bedding for the toddler beds and had some custom jute rugs made out of remnants. We are still waiting for some of our stuff to arrive back from Paris like our rugs we got in Morocco and some of our books and toys. I’m excited to see what they will look like in the space. One of the perks of living in a 450 square foot apartment is there isn’t much to decorate, hopefully I’m finished soon!

Did you create the artwork yourself? It looks adorable!
What a perfect little happy room!
Love the rug and the print over the bed!
I have been wondering where I can find colored blocks like yours?
thank you
what a lovely spot for your little guys!!
I loved it! Did you make the print on the wall?
What are those hanging balls made out of and where can I buy them? They’re super-cute!
I love it! Those ball lights rule!
I would like to know where you get the colored blocks as well. Room looks great!
I love the bed! Is it wicker? I’m looking for a simple, inexpensive twin bed for my son – looking for suggestions!
I’d love to know where you got the coloured wooden blocks from too! PLEASE tell us!
I love how much you love all things rainbow. Me too. I’m so drawn to those 6 colors all lined up together. Tutorial on the felt ball garland soon?
Lovely colours! I prefer colourful kids’ rooms! I adore those balls as well.
So cute- happy, not at all predictable.
Those blocks, the balls… LOVE IT!!!
is the print handmade? what does it mean?
Oh, so wonderful! I wanna be a little boy!
I know there’s a post about those ball lights somewhere (from Paris – I think?) but can’t find it for the life of me! I’m going to Paris soon, and would love to know where that store is!
Really love the colours. You’ve done a really wonderful job decorating.

Adorable! I especially love the mounted lamp above the bed. Did you mount it yourself or did it come with the drilled holes etc? Love it!
So colorful and lovely. The boys will be artists too someday
Yes…tell us about the blocks please!
I love the yellow stripe cover and especially your wink to Le petit prince! Gorgeous.
beautiful! i’m wondering where you found the jenny lind toddler bed. i read your previous post when you were searching and would love to know. it’s coming together so nicely!
the art is a quote from “Le Petit Prince” — one of my favourite books, so I recognized it instantly. jordan actually blogged about a different version of this before; a DIY project, if you’re interested! (i know i am!) Here’s a link: http://ohhappyday.com/2011/08/painted-words-as-art-diy/
Andiamo! One of my toddlers (I’m a teacher) had that little dog toy and he loved it so much…what a treat seeing it again!
The boys bedroom is looking absolutely devine! Could I be cheeky and ask where you order your fabric to make bedding from? I’m sure you know the best place : )
the pops and rainbows of color are wonderful. what an inspired space!
wow, this looks great!!

Thank you Chrissie!
That fruit pillow on the bed is too cute! Everything looks so colorful and fun! Is that board with the alphabet magnets on the wall or is it a refrigerator or something else?
Hello, my name is Thami, I’m from Sao Paulo – Brazil.
Whenever I visit your blog and it is a great inspiration to me.
I love the paintings of her husband.
Congratulations to both.
Hugs!
Love the colors!
love! Great to see a boy’s room that isn’t cliche blue.
oh man! I’m never complaining about our 700 sq feet (for two!!) ever again!
“Dessine-moi un mouton!” Perfection!
Small spaces can bring out a far greater sense of creativity! My boyfriend and I are living in the tiniest space at the moment, a one-room apartment, and are set to move to a little place with 3 rooms this August! We are so excited, and I am already planning how best to capitalise on that space (which will feel enormous to me!)
I particularly love the hanging baubles (lights?), the colours are beautiful and earthy and a perfect complement the lovely dragonfly on the wall. Lucky boys!
Love the room – so funny because I have the same bed AND the same bedding in Jackson’s (also tiny) room!
LOVE those round garlands. Really cute!
Such a happy space! I echo the question above, about the bed. It looks perfect for a toddler’s room. Thanks for sharing!
Jordan, did you get the lights re-wired, or did you just buy a new string of the bulbs in the US?
LOVE the space!!! Would love to know where those blocks are from?
Thanks!
love it! still holding out hope for info about those blocks! probably some little shop in France that I can’t get to, but I’d like to know all the same!
I bought them at Joujou a toy store in Salt Lake City. I think they are from Germany.
thanks!
