Snapshots from Spain + Portugal
I’m finally back home in Paris and I got a chance to look through our trip photos. I can’t wait to share them. It was such a special trip and I feel lucky we got to go and it worked out so well. It was the kind of trip that when it was time to go home we were sad to leave. Paul usually totes the big camera so I wanted to share some of these snapshots I took from my iphone. For the itinerary we used these suggestions as a loose guide.

Looks like a super fun trip.
I’m so jealous! Looks like you had a fantastic time. Especially love the camel’s shadow image in Tangier.

Wow, gorgeous photos! Looks like a great trip
That photo of Sagres looks awesome. I was in Algarve last year (based in Estombar, near Portimao) but didn’t have enough time to drive all the way west to see it. Definitely worth a return trip.
You inspire me to travel with my little dude!
Lovely photos! Such a good idea to pull them together in a photo-story like that. Spain & Portugal are on my vacation wish list. Thanks for sharing. Glad you had a great trip!
I’m looking forward to reading all your tips and recommendations!
Wow, looks like an amazing trip! Gorgeous photos.
I’ve been talking with my lady about planning a trip to live in France for a year or more with our two boys at some point in the hopefully not to distant future, and we have been really inspired by seeing you and your family on the various trips and life about Paris. Keep up the fantastic work!
Fantastic!
Amazing, Jordan! I love reading about your travels and following along on instageam. I wonder if you might share a bit on how you typically handle sleeping arrangements? (btw, our baby sleeps in our closet, too)
But it’s hard to know how to handle sleeping while traveling unless you can always get another bedroom. Did you do that? How do the boys do with new locales?
This trip we only stayed in hotels because we were only in each city for one or two nights. Hotels were easier to book last minute. We always get one large bed for Paul, me, and Moses and then get a baby bed in the room for Roman. Our kids sleep pretty soundly so a second room wasn’t needed.
Lovely! My husband and I spent 1 week in Sevilla about 10 years ago and I have always wanted to go back!
Looks dreamy! Wish I could go back!!
Beautiful pictures!!!

For the next time
Love the Tarifa picture in bed
I live in Gibraltar and Tarifa is one of my favorite places to go for the day on a lazy weekend! I hope you loved it as much as I do!
Thanks for a great blog and wonderful pictures from your trip. Which hotel did you stay at in Madrid? We’re expecting a baby in 8 weeks and are trying to plan a last minute babymoon to Madrid before it’s too late for me to fly.
Lisbon of my <3, my lovely hometown, with a unique light, like no other in the world!!!
And this have been the sunniest winter ever!!! You were very lucky!!!
Amazing pictures!
These photos just tear at my heartstrings! These are some of our very favorite places that we have either lived in or traveled to extensively! I hope Tangier wasn’t too overwhelming for you. There are a lot of hustlers in the medina, but it is a great quick way to see Morocco. If you ever go back you should consider some of the smaller towns so you can get a real feel for Morocco!
Beautiful pictures! Looks like you had a great time!
Ah, these beautiful shots make me long to visit Spain and Portugal again! When my family vacationed there, we used Rick Steves’ guides, too – he’s the best!
dreamy. such magical memories you’ll never forget!
