Happy Weekend

This weekend feels especially good to me. There is a perfect spring day going on outside and this is my first weekend home in a month! I’m going to spend some time with my family and cook some meals and I’m really excited to do boring things like go grocery shopping and laundry. The picture below I took yesterday on Rue Montorgueil. Spring could not be more welcome here.

I also write for Babble.com. Here are my posts this week.

Easter always comes out of nowhere! Be ready! Here are 25 awesome ways to dye eggs.
Obsessed with this Etsy shop.
I want this little guy.

I like the ‘Alice in Wonderland’ book, not so sure about ‘Jane Eyre’ – she looks a tad scary to me.

AH! I think I may have squealed when I saw ‘Pride & Prejudice for Babies’!!! Thanks so much for sharing this!

Oh, and I once tried to crochet my own fruits and vegetables when I was pregnant a few years ago, but the two I attempted look like unfinished lumps of alien fruit. Those are lovely!

Happy weekend to you too! Gorgeous flowers. I’ll be in Paris in 6 weeks, happy to hear spring is getting underway there 🙂 Crossing my fingers for a warm spell, I’ve heard temperatures in April can be more like winter than spring!

I cannot wait for spring! SF is all sunny days and tiny, hopeful blooms on the trees. The best time of year in Northern California, I think.

    Happy Weekend!

    Oi Jordan!
Sou brasileira e li em um dos seus posts que vc já morou no Brasil e sabe um pouco de Portugues. Então tomei a liberdade de escrever em Português.

    Spring in Paris. Sounds lovely.

The Easter Egg tutorials are great! You’re right about Easter coming out of nowhere. I’m glad it’s in April this year.

BTW, I was inspired by yesterday’s DIY for CMYK tissue-paper-squares-on-a-Japanese-lantern to make confetti printable paper today!

I am so happy to have the egg dyeing ideas early. Easter sneaks up on me too and I end up rushing to dye eggs the day before Easter. Thanks for the tips!

I am so wildly jealous of those tulips! This is my first spring in a “warm” climate, and for some reason tulips just don’t do as well in Cyprus as the Midwestern States. Enjoy!

Ah…those flowers are gorgeous. Fresh flowers are one of the things I miss most from Europe. I loved being able to just walk down the street and see fresh cut flowers everywhere. In St. Petersburg there are these little old ladies who sell fresh bouquets at every metro stop. Here in Arizona we just have to make do with Trader Joes flowers.
