What to Wear: Hosting a Fall Cookout

by Amanda Jane Jones

My home is quite small. Because of this, my husband and I are always trying to think of new ways to host dinner guests without trying to squeeze them in our breakfast nook.

This past weekend, we gave the great outdoors a try. There’s nothing quite like a night spent in front of the campfire. We made foil dinners, roasted marshmallows, sang campfire songs and even whittled a bit. Makes me wonder why we don’t do it more often!

Here are some of my “must haves” for the perfect fall cookout!

FOR HER: MUG / TOP / SKIRT / MATCH SAFE / SOCKS

FOR HIM: MUG / OXFORD / SHORTS / THERMOS / ROASTER

That shirt is so awesome! I love stripes 🙂 No cookouts here, though. Hard to do when you’re vegetarian. No one wants to come over for veggie skewers.
