Digging in the Archives
I was archiving old photos and I came across some projects I’ve worked on the last few years. This was a soda pop bar I made for Project Wedding a few years ago. Want to hear something funny: I’ve noticed that some of my favorite ideas have come in the springtime. Something about the weather warming up inspires me. I think it’s a sign I need to live in warm weather. I’ll be sharing a few more from deep in the archives in the next few weeks.

If you love classy soda bottles and lost of them – check out http://route66.com/ It’s this diner/gas station on Route 66 that is the most adorable thing ever! It’s got hundreds for specialty and rare sodas (like a MINT soda from Italy I got last year!) We go out of our way on New Years Day after we see the Flaming Lips in OKC for this place. You can order online and have a set shipped, too!
Jordan, these photos are gorgeous! I love the striped straws. So classy. Looking forward to seeing you at Alt!
Such a fun idea.

Stop by and say Hi sometime soon…

Faygo!!! Where on Earth did you find that? I thought it was only in Michigan!
Beautiful. What a clever idea!
Good skies!
Love love love! What a fun idea!
I may just have to get one of each and have them displayed on an open kitchen shelf.

Looks like a fun project! Any chance you know where that yellow stripe dress is from?
I’ve been to the diner Flannery recommended – POPs outside OKC. A fun place, for sure!
What a fantastic and delicious idea!
The colours are gorgeous! Makes me want to grab a bottle and start sipping!
This was probably one of my absolute FAVORITE ideas of yours! We had a summer BBQ a few months ago and I did a soda bar similar to this one. It was a huge hit thanks to you! Can’t wait to see what else you dig up.
Ooh, I so hope you dig up the post about the DIY Newborn Black and White Book you posted once upon a time- the Cookie Magazine link in the old post is broken, and I tried so hard to find it to no avail!
This photo inspired me to do a similar project for a bridal shower! I wasn’t ambitious enough to do the entire rainbow

This is AWESOME! You have such great ideas!
I loved this idea so much I used it for my own wedding! Thanks for the inspiration, our guests loved it.
I love this look… but have always wondered if this means you’re serving warm soda? not sure how to pull this look off while keeping the drinks cool.
I remember when you posted this and I book marked it and did it at my wedding last month. It was just the lovliest idea. <3
I Love this so much!! I am planning Sasha’s 6th birthday party and she wants it to be rainbow themed. Any more ideas?
I think that it was seeing this on Pinterest that led me to your site. So much fun.
@Amy You just keep them cold in advance/ and or use ice. You can also keep it like a bar where some are on display and some are refrigerated.
I’m in love with that yellow dress with lace popping out under…. swoon… oh and the lovely drinks
Awesome! We had our wedding in Detroit and filled all of the welcome bags with glass bottled Faygo and Better Made potato chips. I love glass bottles and how adorable and retro they look at gatherings.
I’m with you…something about the warm, sunny weather makes me more productive and more creative. As much as I adore places like Boston, Chicago and Seattle, I think I’d have a hard time living there. The weather would trip me up. So, instead, I’ll just visit often!
Those colors are so addictive and wonderful! I love the idea and it’s perfectly executed.
