Happy Weekend

Happy happy weekend everyone. Thanks for the great response to the Commission Project. Everyone in the US be safe with all those earthquakes and hurricanes. Eeesh!  What are you doing this weekend? I’m working meeting a friend to try out a new restaurant and the whole family is going on a picnic with some friends at a new park.

I also write for Babble.com. Here are my posts this week.

The 5 coolest people on the planet got together and designed some Tshirts. My favorite is the mandarin shirt.

Best umbrella in the universe. There, I said it.

I love this indie shoe company (with flats for $26!)

Loveliest children’s books. (But I’d buy pretty much anything McSweeney’s puts out.)

Bobo choses’ new Fall line is out and I want that umbrella sweater.

Just bought a pair of Marais flats this week (mary jane bow/beige). Sad about the $26 flats, only small sizes. Seriously, who is a size 5?! Am I the only one with clown feet?

Love those children’s books! I have a thing for children’s books- even though I don’t have any children yet 🙂 I always think the illustrations are fantastic.

    Have a great weekend!

Aww, love the children’s books, I love finding things for my boys that are well designed as well as being something that they’ll love playing with.

That photo is fantastic. I had a time where I loved making the skies really over exposed with the monuments. This reminds me of how lovely that can be. Simplicity is key!

    Woo!
