Root Beer Sampler
My friend from college, Mark Allen, offered to help me move my blog from blogger to wordpress last year. I suspect he may have regretted that offer a few times over the last few months as he worked late into the night on programming the new site. I wanted to do something for him to say thanks so we’ve been sending treats to his office everyday. My trusty studio manager Alexis helped me put these together. Day 1: was Root Beer. I had Alexis go to BevMo (my favorite place to get vintage brand sodas) and pick up 12 different kind of Root Beer. (I was inspired by Erin Jang’s brilliant Root Beer gift back here.) The drink carriers were free from BevMo and the crate is a CD Crate from JoAnn’s but it was the perfect size and made the gift look a little polished and legit.
This would be a great idea for Father’s Day.

How fun would it be to do a root beer float party. Or have a root beer float station at a BBQ or something.

What a cute idea! Love it!
Now, if only it came with some vanilla ice cream
This is really sweet, I’m definitely going to try!
Oh cute! Would love to see the other treats you send. I love yout ability to invoke a sense of celebration in everyday gestures.
This was almost better than a free trip to Paris, and has made me the most popular guy in the Yelp office this week. Thanks!
That really is a fantastic idea for a Fathers’ Day present! That frosty mug looks heavenly! I’m so curious about which one is his favorite!
I almost want to go to BevMo and buy some bottles of soda just so I can get those crisp, white drink carriers!
Completely awesome, Jordan.
Super awesome idea for Father’s Day! I’d actually go with a real beer sampler myself…;)

I love this idea. We don’t drink “real” beer, but a six pack of root beer is a great father’s day idea. So, original and classic.
Now I am craving some good ole’ root beer.
I love this idea! So fun and unique.
Jordan: Mark’s office thanks you as well! Rest assured, the treats (and now your website) have been enjoyed by many at Yelp.

A few years ago I did a Root Beer of the month club for Father’s Day. It was such a hit. Each month we got 2 different six-packs of root beer to test out. It was one of my favorite gifts I’ve given!

The post is very informative. It is a pleasure reading it. I have also bookmarked you for
checking out new posts.
I think root beer is great, but we recently had some German friends visiting and when we had them give it a try for the first time they both agreed, “This tastes like something we’d put in the bath water!” They don’t know what they’re missing
By the way, what a great giveaway! Very cool for that lucky winner!
What a great birthday idea! It looks so awesome that the bottles are different shapes and sizes. Thanks for the inspiration!
