Treats Day 4: Dynamo Donuts
On the fourth day we sent a box of Dynamo Donuts to my friend Mark. (See Day 1, and Day 2 and 3 over here.) Dynamo Donuts is a specialty donut shop in San Francisco that makes really hearty donuts (they weigh a ton!) in really interesting flavors. For example here is their menu list from yesterday: Vanilla, Bacon, Caramel, Passionfruit, Chocolate Spice, Chocolate Rose, Chocolate Almond, Rosemary, Lemon Thyme, Apricot Cardamom, MonteCristo, and Lemon. They get very experimental with their flavors!

The donuts look really good, but I don’t know about some of those flavors. Although, the bacon one does sound quite yummy…. but then again I am pregnant and my sense of what is good is off most of the time these days.

Nice, those are awesome. Have you been to Psycho Donuts in San Jose? A little bit crazier, but maybe not in a good way.

Such a sweet idea. I’ve been getting into doughnuts a little bit lately (or alot) but the gourmet doughnut craze has yet to hit Sydney so they’ve mostly been the pink iced variety they ate on NYPD blue.

I love donuts! I especially these types- heavier and sweet! I just wish I lived in SF now instead of Singapore. Boo. But if I ever go…. I think I could eat these for breakfast, lunch and dinner.

Bacon donuts fall into that slender category of things I’m very glad to know exist but equally glad never to try.

Love Dynamo! My bf recently moved from the Mission, but we used to go there almost every weekend. My favorites are Blueberry Cornmeal and Lemon Thyme. I’ve noticed some people have had them at weddings instead of cake
