Flora Grubb
Have you seen Flora Grubb‘s famous Vertical Garden’s? I just saw they have a DIY kit. I love succulents because they are hard for me to kill. If I ever own a home I’m totally doing one of these.

I love these! There was a jardin ephemere in front of the Hotel de Ville in Paris last spring that featured some 'garden paintings' as I like to call them, as well as a variety of other brilliant and creative garden "looks". I'm going to have to look into this again–especially with all this heat, it seems like succulents are the only plants I would be able to keep alive through the summer.
what a beautiful and 'fresh' piece of art this would be! we would love a wall like this inside the home. i'm going to post this in our blog – we have a few posts dedicated to succulents! what's not to love about them?

There's a gorgeous vertical garden in a mall called 360 here in Kuwait. It's indoors but it brings out the space so beautifully!

These look great, but can take more maintenance than you might think, even using succulents. Adding drip irrigation is definitely the way to go. If you make a vertical garden, be sure to place it in a sunny spot (If it doesn't get enough sun, all the different color succulents will revert to a bland green). I've also seen these made with strawberry plants–a wall of strawberries!

The first time I had ever seen (or heard) of a vertical garden was on the front of Les Halles in Avignon. I thought it was magic. I couldn't believe it was real. It was so beautiful.

Sorry to sound like a stickler, but it is "gardens", not "garden's". Misplaced apostrophes make people look so unintelligent.

Those hanging gardens are a dream of mine. I have a spot on my patio that is just calling out for them. However, the kits are not cheap, so it would be more expensive to do the hanging garden then traditional landscape.
