Roman’s Big Day
Today is the day of Roman’s cleft lip repair surgery. Aubrey Trinnaman came over yesterday and took some pictures of him before his little face gets changed forever. I love Aubrey and for the record I think she is a genius.
We love this little guy so much. See you on the flip side.
And here is one of Moses with his new haircut.

He is absolutely darling. I love those big round eyes.
Good luck. I'm sure today will be a crazy day for you.
Adore those photos! All the very best xxx
Gorgeous photos! How do you luck out with two such beautiful kidlets?
Roman is an angel and best of luck for his surgery.
My 'baby's' 1st cleft lip/palate repair was almost 15 years ago. What the doctors can do is amazing and it is humbling to witness the strength and resiliency of a tiny person.I will be thinking of you and your beautiful boy today.
Sweety
My father's cleft lip surgery was in 1945 when Vienna was bombed basically every day. And it when really well. So it should work out for you and your little one, too!
Good luck!
Sending good thoughts to you and your beautiful family.
my best wishes to all of you on the day of surgery. i hope he heals quickly.
xx

All best to you and sweet baby Roman! Roman totally looks like you…so beautiful.
oh the gorgeous little poppet. Doesn't it just break your heart to put them through pain, but you know that ultimately it's for the best. Not that it's any comparison but I had my daughter's tongue tie corrected when she was 5 days old, and even as a doctor myself it's still hard to have a stranger take your child off you and 'operate' on them. But I know that in the future it means less chance of speech impairment and some other benefits. So I understand a tiny little bit what you are going through. My prayers and best wishes are with you at this time.
Sending prayers to your family today and the photos are darling. Very sweet.
Omgosh, he is beautiful! Those eyes and that skin! And Moses is still precious! Praying for a successful, non-eventful surgery for y'all.

They are both so darling! I can see you in Roman!
Wishing you and Roman the best today! The photos are gorgeous (as is the baby!) and I really commend you for having them taken and posting them. We all need to get more comfortable with the varieties of human diversity—whether they be physical, neurological, or whatever. It's wonderful that Roman's cleft will be repaired, and it's wonderful that you've loved him and welcomed him as he is.
Beautiful! Great, great photos. Will say little prayer for the champ:)

Oops. That last comment was me, not Mom.
Oh, Jordan, he's just beautiful. Seriously gorgeous kid.
He is such a beautiful boy. Dressed in a soft knitted outfit, snuggled with a soft snake. Oh, I love love love! I have to go snuggle with my own little one now…
Thank you for sharing your story and the precious photos. I am sending positive, healing energy to your baby and the whole family. xoxo
Roman is such a beautiful boy! These pictures are fantastic! It just so happens that this week we were matched with a sweet little boy with a cleft lip and palate whom we are adopting from China. So I understand a little of what you're going through and I'll keep you in our thoughts as he undergoes his first surgery.
Good luck today, Jordan! Thinking of you!
