Stocking Stuffers for Dudes

I hate when Stocking stuffers become an after thought (guilty!) Here are some ideas if you need some. All of these I kept under $30.

1. Tabletop Ping Pong set. Turns a normal table into a ping pong table.
2. Chocolate Pie Chart $20. Only thing better than candy is clever candy.
3. Headlamp $29. Nothing makes a dude feel more manly than gear.
4. Holga $27. Fun toy camera and you can’t beat the price.
5. Rubik’s Cube $14. So classic and perfect for your desk.
6. NPR Map $7. Wherever you are you’ll know the local NPR station.
7. Paper Hot Air Balloon $26. Fun thing to play with.
8. Travel Guide $12. To somewhere they’d like to go. (It makes me feel like its one step closer to traveling there.)
9. Personalized Pencils $9. Make them say something funny or clever.
10. Nice Parking Cards $15. Snarky little cards when someone does a bad parking job.
11. Subscription to Wired $10. This is Paul’s favorite magazine.
12. Kiehl’s Moisturizer $29. Paul doesn’t spend a lot on products so I like to splurge and get him something good once in a while.
13.Threadless Tee $12. Lots of t-shirts to choose from.

  • Andrea says:

Wow, that Threadless tee is not exactly the kind of thing I'd buy anyone for Christmas. Omg.

  • celi.a says:

I think you are right about these gifts – perfect for guys! Although I did have a sort of gut reaction like Andrea's to that t-shirt design. I've done headlamps and Rubik's cubes before for my brothers. I LOVE the nice parking cards! Thanks for the ideas.

  • Amy Nixon says:

Thanks for the great suggestions….I've been stuck on stocking stuffers for hubby & son! Now I have ideas! :)

  • Tifferlee83 says:

Finally a gift guide my guy can relate to! Thank you Jordan!

  • michelle says:

    Awesome list.

  • Caroline, No. says:

Lovely choices. I like the Rubik's cube idea. Perfect for fiddling with whilst you're on the phone.

  • kh says:

Ahhhh I love that moisturizer! Good call. Thanks for the ideas.

  • Sarah Bradley says:

Those are some fantastic idea! Thanks Jordan!

  • Tamara says:

#13 is disturbing and not funny or hip or cool. Poor choice, but thanks for the other suggestions.

  • jordan says:

Its funny, I thought the t-shirt was pretty, not offensive. They are butterflies after all. :)

  • JennyW says:

Thank you! You just made my life much simpler this week :)

  • Courtney says:

perfect list. thank you. I already have 11 and 12, but I got some more great ideas.

  • Condo Blues says:

I gave the headlamp to a runner and it was a hit because it has so many other uses. It's great for doing projects where you need light but don't have a third hand to hold a flashlight, like DIY jobs or computer hardware upgrades.

  • Whitney @ Whisker Graphics says:

I signed my teenage son up for a Wired subscription last week and added a second subscription for $5 for my mom!

  • laura says:

I love #7 – how fun! I blogged it and linked you. :-) Thanks for all the fun suggestions!

  • Joanna Goddard says:

great guide, jordan! i love this!

  • Get Togetha says:

My guy would go crazy over that throwback Rubix Cube…he loves all things 80's

  • Natalie says:

Great guide! Michaels Crafts is selling $1 versions of the Rubik's Cube right now in their dollar bins…they aren't as "nice" as the more expensive ones, but it works as a cheap stocking stuffer! Adore your blog…xo ;)

  • Susie says:

I ordered the Tabletop Pingpong set for my brother for part of his Christmas gift, and I'm super excited to see how nice/functional it is in person.

It seems like it's taking forever to get here, though, so if you're ordering from Paper Source, order NOW! :)

Threadless tee's are such a great idea! Thanks for the list.

  • prepaidgirl says:

Cute ideas. Also, try prepaid cell phones. TracFone has a plan called Straight Talk. You pay for the cell phone and put it in your kids stocking. Every month, they pay $30 for 1,000 minutes, 1,000 text, and 30MB of data. This way, you teach them about responsibility and give them a great gift for Christmas.
