Paper Lantern Source

My sister is in town for Blogher and I’ve been helping her decorate for the Kirtsy party. Yesterday I made Paul climb up a palm tree and hang 40 Chinese lanterns. My favorite source for Chinese lanterns is Paper Lantern Store. They are very cheap and have the best selection I’ve found. Also, if you live in the bay area they let you pick up from their warehouse in San Carlos–which saves on shipping.

Also, I don’t know if you live near a Dollar Tree, but they have small 8″ lanterns with lights. Totally cute for only $1! I blogged about them here:

I made a baseball out of a white one for my son’s baseball room. I got navy ribbon to make the line and a red sharpie to make the marks. It matched his bedding and turned out great.

I so wish I was going to BlogHer – have an amazing time!
