Best Books to Give Your Lover

Secret Language of Sleep: Paul bought me this for V-day last year. It is a small little book, cleverly written, that interprets cuddling positions.

Other People’s Love Letters: I thumbed through this the other day at Urban Outfitters. A book of really great found love letters.

I Like You: This was my standard present for every boyfriend or friend for several years. It is a small little book with the sweetest message.

I got “Other People’s Love Letters” as a Christmas gift…
I really liked it, at the end of the book they give up a little background and “where are they now” update of the people who wrote/received the letter…
    pretty cool!

There’s another book called The Cuddle Sutra–similar to the first one you posted, but really witty and, actually, quite informative (not dirty, though).

There is a fantastic book called Four Letter Word (fairly new) by a wide variety of well known authors. It’s creative and the writing is intelligent and frankly quite stunning.

‘I love you, Ronnie’ Compiled by Nancy Reagan is really good too.

Ronald Reagan was a real romantic and crushingly in love with Nancy. They don’t make men like that anymore.

    It’s a great read.

    Joran –
I’ve been looking for a ‘pink leather journal’ you had featured on your blog – and were sold at etsy! I’ve looked and looked! Can you direct me to it? Please leave a message at my blog. Thanks so much! I need it for a shower gift. I could sware it was on your blog . . . and fairly recently!

the love letter book is quite a nice read and while not all of them are so romantic its nice to see that people still leave each other hand written notes.

    any other valentine’s day suggestions?

gifted the “I like you” book many times myself.

a new favorite, though lsss flexible for gifting (a little more “you’re the one”) is Sandra Boynton’s Consider Love: Its Moods and Many Ways, which I bought in a large format, but just found this season in small and red.
