A lot people got candles from me for Christmas this year. Along with every candle I included one of these cute matchboxes. These matches are extra long so your fingers don’t burn when you are lighting your candle. Besides being functional the boxes are so cute! I got mine from Anthropologie but thanks to Apartment Therapy SF I found a direct source. Here they are for half the price at Anthropologie. I like having these sitting around rather than a regular matchbox, so much prettier.

you don’t ever realize how handy the longer match is until you have time to saunter around the room lighting at least 3 candles without rushing or burning your finger tips off.
i use mine all the time. love them. the perfect length.

the best part about long matches is the very satisfying lighting sound they make. sounds like a real fire starting. i love it.
