Printable Cookie (Monster) Bags

Did you know May 15th is National Chocolate Chip Day? In honor of my favorite dessert (chocolate chip cookies) wouldn’t it be fun to celebrate with a silly cookie monster treat? This is a fun favor for any occasion, but do you really need an excuse to eat cookies? I didn’t thinks so. (PS – 5 ways to celebrate National Chocolate Chip Cookie Day.)

Printable Cookie (Monster) Bags | Oh Happy Day! Printable Cookie (Monster) Bags | Oh Happy Day! Printable Cookie (Monster) Bags | Oh Happy Day!

Materials: Printable Cookie Bag Template, 8.5 x 11 white card stock (I used Epson Ultra Premium Matte Presentation Paper), craft knife, bone folder, ruler, 3.5” x 5” clear cello bags, glue stick (not pictured), your favorite cookies (note, this bag is a little under 4” so make sure your cookie will fit).

Step 1: Print out the downloadable template on 8.5 x 11 white cover stock or other presentation paper. Regular paper will work well too.
Step 2: With the bone folder, score the foldable flaps. Cut out template using a craft knife (or scissors) and then fold template into it’s form with the bone folder.
Step 3: Measure the cello bag to the top of the back side of the template (approximately 3.5″) and cut off the top of the bag.
Step 4: Cut out the monster mouth.
Step 5: Assemble the cookie monster by glueing down the the flaps & inserting the cello bag.
Step 6: Add your favorite cookie and seal the back with glue or tape.
Step 7: Eat your cookie!
