Giant Paper Alphabet Blocks

by Ashley Page Norton

Paper is definitely my favorite medium! Here is a paper project you can customize in so many ways and you probably already have all the materials. These blocks are great to have on hand for baby showers, birthday parties, holidays, etc. You can use them over and over again, just put useful letters on them and make them in a color palette you love. This pink variety would decorate an adorable second birthday for a little girl!

Baby Shower Invitation in a Box + Free Printable

When I am throwing an extra special party I love doing something extra special with the invitation. It really does make a difference in getting people excited for the party. I love the idea of putting invitations in boxes with a little sweet or surprise. The delivery can be a little more complicated than just dropping it in the mail (I usually hand deliver most of them) but I always get a really good response from invitations like these. For these we got the boxes here and used sixlets, I think they look so modern and cute. We taped the accordion invitation to the lid so that when you open it unfolds with the party details. Find the free-printable and more details below!

Oh Baby Tablecloth DIY

by Chiara Alberetti Milott

Have a baby shower coming up?  I conquered my fear of cutting out felt letters with the simple trick of printing out the letters, then cutting the paper and cloth together. This project took several nights worth of sewing, but in the end, looks so pretty – plus can be passed on to the next sister, cousin, or friend’s baby shower! Of course, if a baby boy is on the way, switch to blues and greens, or if you’re waiting with bated breath to find out the sex of the baby – yellows will do the trick!

A Fresh Baby Shower

by Casey Baudoin

Spring parties are perfect for bright and fresh color combos.  I’m loving aqua and citron/lime these days!  Serve your guests with fruit dishes and smoothie drinks, and add in some handmade items like tassel garland and stamped table cloths to make it special.

Paper Flower Party Hats

by Kathleen Ballos

Who can resist paper flowers? Now that it’s finally spring, I think it would be so much fun to host an April Showers Bring May Flowers party. I love making party hats because when you take a group photograph, the theme of the party is unmistakable – and in this case your guests would look like a bouquet!
