Plenty of sweets come through our offices on a regular basis (it’s an occupational hazard of working here) and it’s nice to have other alternatives to choose when the cupcakes are out on the counter. NatureBox recently approached us about trying out their service that brings healthy snacks directly to your doorstep. You can choose the snacks that come in your box, but all of their products are made with wholesome ingredients and are Nutritionist-approved. That means: no high fructose corn syrup, no partially hydrogenated oils, no trans fats, no artificial sweeteners, no artificial flavors, and no artificial colors. We’ve been keeping them in an easy to reach spot and it’s been such a life saver during our work days – especially when we’re tempted to stray from our healthy habits. We LOVE the Lemon Pucker Pistachios (so good!) but the Dark Cocoa Almonds have been disappearing quickly too. NatureBox has a variety of sizes at different price points so there’s an option for everyone. And right now, they are offering 50% off the first box for Oh Happy Day readers (that means the box is only $10!) Just use the code HAPPYDAY when you sign up. (Valid only on 1st month’s box. New customers only.) A subscription for healthy snacks? What a good idea! Thanks NatureBox.

These custom Valentines Day cards are the perfect solution for Mom’s who want to do something special with their kids for Valentines but don’t have the time. Pear Tree Greetings creates custom Valentine’s Day cards through their site. It’s super easy and affordable. I loved browsing through all of their new Valentine’s Day options: they have photo cards, classroom valentines for kids, stickers, and even address labels. But, we ended up choosing these awesome classroom cards for our kids (although, these photobooth ones look fun too!) I love that they were so easy to personalize with photos, and it was fun to pick different color schemes for each of our kids. Valentine’s Day is in less than 3 weeks, but there’s still plenty of time to order your cards in time before then!
Here are a few of my other favorite classroom cards from Pear Tree Greetings. Which style do you like best?

Today I’m so excited to share a special DIY I designed for Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals. If you’ve ever visited a child in the hospital, you know that bringing in gifts or decorations can be tricky. Many hospitals have restrictions on what is allowed into the pediatric floor - no plants, no flowers, no latex, no food or candy, no stuffed animals, no used toys. So, this DIY is a great solution! It’s perfectly safe and will brighten up a hospitalized child’s room. It breaks my heart that this year one million children will spend Christmas in the hospital. So I love that CMN Hospitals is encouraging everyone to donate $5 in honor of these kids. To give, just click here and follow the steps. All donations to CMN Hospitals stay local and each hospital can choose to spend the funds however they need them most. CMN Hospitals raise funds for 170 children’s hospitals in North America. Together, they provide $3.4 billion in charitable care every year.

I’ve been obsessed with the new Holiday Collection from Serena & Lily. (For example here, here, and here.) They asked me a few weeks ago if I wanted to be a part of their holiday blogger contest and I jumped at the opportunity. Me and 4 other bloggers decorated rooms in our homes using Serena & Lily holiday products. I chose to decorate the Christmas tree in my living room with their beautiful ornaments, string paper lights and giant snowflake lights. (Their ornaments are the prettiest glass ornaments I’ve ever seen.) They are hosting a contest on Facebook where everyone can vote for their favorite blogger-designed vignette and enter for the chance to win a $1,000 shopping spree at Serena & Lily. Click here to visit their Facebook page and enter to win. (And please please pretty please vote for me!)

I just got my December Golden Tote and I think this service is genius. I tried out their site a few months ago while I was in a clothing rut and fell in love with the whole process. You know that panic stricken feeling you get when you realize you have a bunch of things to go to and you don’t have a ton of options to wear? That happened last week and all of a sudden my Golden Tote showed up (true story!) Basically, you pick out a few clothing items from their site and fill out a style profile, Golden Tote will send them the items they picked along with a few surprise pieces chosen by a stylist. I picked out this white sweater and a cute vest, but the stylists also sent me a pretty dress and some perfect sweaters that I’ve already worn a ton. This would make such a great gift for my sister or a friend!
