Spring, Come Soon.

Shanna Murray, the talented illustrator (whose work I love) asked if I wanted to collaborate on her monthly desktop calendar. Every month Shanna illustrates on a photo of a different contributor. I was so happy when she asked me and love how it turned out. This picture was taken on a walk last week around the Ferris Wheel in Paris. So here is a free pretty picture for your computer desktop should you desire it. Go here to download. (And if you haven’t already seen them go check out the gorgeous decals in Shanna’s shop. They are the best.)

Happy March! And please Spring, Come Soon.

Moses goes to Louie’s

A few weeks ago I took Moses to get his first real hair cut. (I don’t count the infamous head shaving incident.) I asked Aubrey Trinnaman, my good friend (and photographer) to come and document it. We went to Louie’s in the Castro which is a classic old barber shop. It makes me so happy to have good photos from these little life events. Aubrey also took photos of Roman’s Birth and even my wedding photos. Email her if you need a photographer for milestones and stories of any sort.

Kirby Cove Beach Day

I know everyone else is sick of Summer but for us it has just arrived. San Francisco gets really warm the end of September beginning of October so we are trying to take advantage of the 85 degree weather(!) We went to Kirby Cove beach with some friends and Paul took some photos with our old polaroid camera.

Photobooth Engagement

This photobooth engagement is so cute. She doesn’t notice the ring box, then she gets confused, then is surprised. So cute! From Angela + Ithyle.

Engagement Photos

I’ve been printing my good friend Rebecca’s wedding invitations the last week. We got on the subject of my wedding and it made me go through old wedding photos. These are the engagement photos my old roommate Aubrey took. They feel a little bit trendy to me now but when we took them we felt so cutting edge. I still love that skirt to death.
