The only thing we like as much as parties is a pretty room. See our favorite home decor ideas and tips and tricks right here like how we turned a walk in closet into a bedroom for our two sons. Or how we decorated our temporary Paris apartment on the cheap.
I’ve been a huge Method fan for years. I use their products every single day. So I was thrilled when they approached me about partnering together for the launch of their new Air Refreshers line at Target. The scents are all awesome and actually smell like things you’d find in nature. Plus, they use a new pressurized air technology that doesn’t use petroleum-based propellant like most other air fresheners. The formula is totally non-toxic and free of dirty ingredients. To celebrate the launch, we’re giving ONE Oh Happy Day reader that chance to refresh a room in their own home with a $1,000 gift card to Target + the chance to sample all 5 of the new Air Refresher fragrances. Today I’m showing how I would style this Folding Bookcase three ways. This little bookcase is simple and modern so it can work in any room. I tried it in the kitchen, my bedroom, and the kids room and it looked great everywhere. I really like the Room Essentials line because the pieces are beautiful, really versatile and have excellent price points. When I’m styling a space I think about how it’s going to function and then put it together with art and objects that I love. Plants, Art and Lighting make the biggest difference! How do you style your home?

I like that the new styles and colors feel so fresh and modern. The patterns on these sheets are amazing, and I can’t wait to use this lamp in my bedroom. And a huge bonus: everything is super affordable. It’s a great way to freshen up your house for a new season without spending a ton of money.
I shared pictures of our dining room renovation but I forgot to mention how we hung all the artwork. I really didn’t want to make a million holes in the beautiful wood so here is what I did…

When we bought our San Francisco flat last year it was my first time ever having a dining room. I immediately started dreaming of the dinner parties I was going to throw that I never could because of the tiny apartments we always lived in. The bedrooms and kitchen took priority but this spring we started working on the dining room. Click through below to see the before and after.
