The only thing we like as much as parties is a pretty room. See our favorite home decor ideas and tips and tricks right here like how we turned a walk in closet into a bedroom for our two sons. Or how we decorated our temporary Paris apartment on the cheap.
I’ve scored some great Craigslist finds the last few days, it starts to get addictive. But please enable me just a little longer, does anyone know where I can get a cabinet like this? Isn’t it pretty?

Jared Rusten is a very talented furniture designer. I especially love this brilliant California Desk. It is handcrafted and gorgeous. I can think of five people I want to buy this for. You can buy it right here.
We’ve lived in our 1-bedroom apartment two and a half years now, Moses sleeps in a closet and right now Roman sleeps in a bassinet next to my bed. It is small and cozy and we love it, but with two kids I’m starting to get antsy to move to a bigger place. I dream of the day where I can have a guest room (the ultimate luxury). Part of living in a big city, means you get lots of visitors. I love this makeover from Country Living (I originally saw on Jenny’s blog). It is an office/guestroom complete with a blowup mattress and luggage rack tucked away in an armoire, very inspiring!
It was the first day of spring this weekend and you can feel it in the air! The sunny weather has put me in the best mood. I have started doing some serious spring cleaning and am hoping to finish everything by this weekend. I would like it if when I’m doine all my things looked like Sabrina Linn’s loft from Canadian House & Home.
I’ve been a fan of John Derian for a really long time though I’ve never bought any of his pricier pieces. I did pick up a few of these postcards the other day though. Any of these framed and matted nicely would make great affordable art. (They are only $1.50 each.)
