Happy Weekend
Oh man, that move was brutal. It’s been about 5 weeks now and I’m starting to see a light at the end of the tunnel. I’m finally getting caught up on email and trying to get back into a schedule. We are now working on getting our art studio on Valencia Street back together. I have big plans for the space–I’m hoping to start the Community Craft Nights up again and take advantage of having that great space in San Francisco. Do you have anything fun planned this weekend? I am walking the Commute with some friends (50 Miles!) And I really want to go see the new Wes Anderson Movie. Happy Weekend!

Happy Weekend
Happy Weekend! The last few weeks have been crazy with the renovations and unpacking. We moved in this week and our stuff doesn’t even fit in our apartment! We knew that would be the case so we ‘ve been working to categorize everything into donate/sell/store piles. We’ve made a dent in the solid walls of moving boxes but still have a ways to go. Paul’s awesome parents are super generous and have come out for the week to help us do everything from babysitting, painting, rewiring lamps, child proofing the deck, etc. I honestly don’t know how we would have got along without them! Thanks Don + Linda! We are going to be unpacking all weekend but we are hoping to get away for an afternoon to go to the Maker Faire! (Have you ever been? It’s amazing!) I hope you all have a happy weekend.

Happy Weekend from San Francisco
We’re back in San Francisco! I’ve missed everyone and everything. I can’t believe a week ago we were in Paris. I know I’ll get homesick for Paris but right now I’m so happy to be back. We are still getting settled and are crashing at my brother and sister in law’s house but hopefully we’ll have a place to live soon. We’re having to make a lot of big decisions like buying a car, renting an apartment etc. in a short period of time. It’s been stressful and I’ve been feeling overwhelmed. I keep reminding myself that in a few weeks all this will be settled and we’ll be riding our bikes down to the Ferry Building Farmer’s Market. We just have to get through the next few weeks. I hope you have a beautiful weekend!

Happy Weekend
Happy weekend everyone. We’ve been busy this week tying up loose ends and fitting in last visits to our favorite cafes and bakeries. I know I am going to miss Paris like crazy when we get back but I am actually looking forward to getting through all of the stress of closing our accounts here and finding an apartment in San Francisco. Everything feels so unsettled right now. We are still trying to appreciate the little moments. It rained today but the skies cleared this afternoon for a little bit and we were sitting on our sofa with the kids talking. The sun was out and the window was open and a crisp spring breeze was coming in the room. We just sat there for a few minutes watching all the busy people on the street below meeting their kids after school or picking up a baguette from the boulanger for dinner. I tried to make a mental note of everything because I don’t want to forget . These are the kinds of things I will miss the most. Next week I’m going to be sharing some pictures of our apartment and some very special Paris content I’ve been working on! I hope you have a happy happy weekend wherever you are.

Happy Weekend
Happy weekend! Everything is starting to feel so surreal here. We only have a couple weeks left and I get sort of weepy every time I eat a croissant or look at the Seine. I took the boys to the park and they both just randomly stopped and sat down together so I snapped this photo. I wonder if they (or mostly Moses) will remember any of this. Sigh… What are you doing this weekend? Anything fun?
