Happy weekend! My kids are starting at a preschool in a week so it is the last week of real summer for us. We still need to get some more bike rides and picnics in. Since we’ve been back from France we’ve been so much better about setting boundaries with work and and personal time. Even though I still feel behind all the time it is great to feel like I’m at least not dropping the ball on things that are most important to me. I loved listening to Grace’s podcast on this same subject. Do you have a secret for feeling on top of things? Mine includes leaving the laptop at the studio and making sure the house is clean before I go to work. I hope you have a beautiful weekend!
Happy happy weekend! This is the first real week I’ve felt settled since we moved back from Paris. It feels amazing to be back to regular life with a real schedule. I love San Francisco but I’m starting to feel pretty nostalgic for Paris and our friends there. I guess that means its time to save some pennies for a trip back. What do you have planned this summer weekend? I am hoping for a long bike ride through Golden Gate Park and maybe a visit to the secret slides. Have a happy weekend guys.

Happy weekend guys. This week was full of tons of meetings and emails and lots of organizing. We even finally got our art studio set up and ready to work. Now I just want to unplug from the computer and lay in the sun all weekend. I hope you have a beautiful summer weekend!

Happy Weekend! We’ve been on a roadtrip the last week visiting family in Utah. San Francisco weather is so moderate that its been nice to have some real hot weather, especially for the 4th of July. Today we are headed to southern Utah to the red rocks and desert. I’m excited to take my kids on hikes and show them the red rock canyons I grew up in. How was your week?

I’m finally getting the chance to go through our apartment and organize and purge. It feels so good to get rid of stuff! I’m by no means a minimalist but I’ve realized lately that everything we own just takes up space and that it takes time to manage it all. The less stuff you have, the more time you have. So I’ve been going through everything we own and donating all of it. My new motto is SIMPLIFY! WE have some fun plans this weekend that include a barbecue with friends in Palo Alto and then meeting some friends for the Mountain Play. We are also going to try to squeeze in a bike ride down to the Ferry Building on our new bikes. Have a good one amigos!
