Mini Paper Flower Party Hats DIY

In the springtime, my obsession with flowers hits an all-time high. I especially like experimenting with paper flowers because they’re so easy to work with. These party hats are especially festive. You could pair them with the Giant Paper Flower Party Hats we made earlier this week, or highlight them on their own. They are easy to make and are so fun.

Mini Balloon Placecards

This is a perfect little idea Alison came up with. Mini Balloon Placecard Holders are so cute it is almost too much (like balloons couldn’t get any cuter, they had to make mini balloons!) Because they’re smaller, 5″ balloons don’t stay inflated as long as bigger balloons. But, their life-span is perfect for surprising guests at your next party. Attach them to calligraphed placecards so each person can have their own!

Number Shaped Envelope Surprise

I love surprising people on their birthdays with special notes written by their friends and family. With email it is so easy to do a project like this last minute. You just ask everyone to email a note or memory and photos. Then you put them in envelopes and surprise the person. I’ve done a few versions of this over the years see here and here. This presentation works great for a birthday or anniversary because you can put the envelopes in the shape of the birthday or anniversary year.
