art + design
Have you heard of Poppin? They’re an awesome company that makes colorful and modern office products. Having worked in a cubicle, I know that most workspaces can be boring. So I love the idea of adding a little style to the spot where you spend most of the day. The Poppin website definitely has me daydreaming about giving our studio a makeover. But, I can’t decide whether I’d want to stick with a theme (like Oh Happy Day yellow) or mix and match a color palette. What do you think? Right now, Poppin is offering Oh Happy Day readers a $10 off all orders of $40+ with the code: OHHAPPYDAY. Use it before it expires on 7/5!

For the past few weeks, I’ve been brainstorming simple updates I can make to my house to keep it feeling fresh. One of my favorite websites to visit for inspiration is Fab. I love that everything feels so modern and colorful, and I can easily get lost in their Furniture, Home, and Art pages. Some of my favorite items right now are below. Which one do you like best?

I’m excited to announce another Commission Project just in time for Father’s Day. The Commission Project works like this: purchase a painting here and choose your frame color, send in a photo by Wednesday May 15th, then wait by your mailbox. A finished painting by Paul Ferney, framed and ready to hang will be shipped by June 10th. These make really great gifts! Here are some of my favorite pictures below.
There are a very limited number of spots this time (half sold out in the first hour.) Updated: This round is sold out but if you want to be the first to hear about this in the future sign up for the email list right here.
A few years ago when we were living in Paris I saw some really amazing window displays and I’ve always wanted to make some party decorations inspired by them. Last week we gave it a go and loved how they turned out. This geometric installation would be so awesome hanging above tables for a wedding or in a large loft space. They are so elegant and beautiful. They would even make a really great photobooth backdrop. The best part: they are really inexpensive and simple to make and have such a big impact. I kind of want to make one to keep in my office above my desk. See full instructions below.

I’m excited to announce we are finally releasing the Paris prints that Paul painted last year. Every year Paul and I have worked on a series together where I get to choose the subjects and he paints the paintings. The first year we did cakes and the next year we did these Paris store fronts. It was really fun to choose these little stores for Paul to paint. I’ve been missing Paris a lot lately and seeing these pictures makes me feel nostalgic. To launch the store we are offering a sale on both the cake prints and the Paris prints just in time for Mother’s day. If you buy 3 you get 30% off with the code: 3ORMORE Go here to purchase.
