Design Mom’s Bookcase

While this picture does feature my darling niece June, I wanted to point out how amazing my sister, Gabrielle, aka Design Mom is at styling bookshelves. Although she’ll deny it, her house is amazing. (It ALWAYS has been.) This bookshelf isn’t filled with expensive art books, just the regular kind of books people actually have. But her bookshelf looks straight out of a magazine. Gab, can you come out and visit and do this to my bookshelf?

so beautiful, but once I saw the baby I couldn't take my eyes off of her. So sweet. She's the baby in the bookshelf. How nice to sleep surrounded by books.

I arranged my bookshelf by color last year, and at first, the idea kind of horrified me, because I am a librarian, but I LOVE how it looks, so I kept it that way.

I so enjoy seeing other people's books. You can learn so much about them. I've debated with my husband over the years about keeping my Riverside Shakespeare – I'm glad to see it sitting in Gabby's shelves too!
