Ribbon Embroidery

I went to Emily’s last night to do embroidery with silk ribbon. It was so nice to just sit and talk to Rob and Emily and be served mint tea out of her fancy silver pitcher. I like the way Emily thinks and does things. We are hoping that activities like this will happen more often now because of the recession. It is nice not having pressure to buy anything.

{Emily scanned all the instructions in here.}

    Wow – this is amazing. I find myself doing more creative things these days too, since I’m taking a pause from spending. And it makes me happy!

    I love ribbon embroidery! I have been doing it for several years as my “relaxing” hobby. The only thing is that they don’t offer the kits anymore like they used to so I have been purchasing my own supplies and making my own patterns. Love to see that others love it as much as I do!
