Sentinel

I recently heard three different people rave about this place so I finally broke down and went there yesterday. Dennis Leary, the cute blond little peach that shows up on the Food Network now and then, opened up a small breakfast and lunch counter called The Sentinel in the Financial District. The menu has 4 new items everyday of amazing gourmet lunch foods. A few things that makes this place really special: Dennis is behind the counter making your food, it costs the same price as a Subway sandwich, the food is AMAZING. We took our barbeque pork shoulder sandwich {with fresh corn} over to Yerba Buena and ate it.

I’ll have to add this to my list of fabulous finds in San Francisco. Thanks for the tip!

Sometimes I’m surprised that the SF Tourism Bureau doesn’t pay you … because I know I’m ready to pack my bags every time you find another great food spot.

Unfortunately, the last thing I need is more food.

You should stop some morning as well, because what that man can do to a blueberry muffin is out of this world! Seriously, they are shockingly good.
