I just discovered this blog today. The little cafe in the most recent post is delicious, but the whole blog is delightful:

How about the Mad Tea {Towel} Party beginning Friday in Cincinnati…

    http://www.visualingual.org/teatowelshow/#venue

I just wrote about it today on my blog… it makes me homesick that I’m not in Ohio now.

My other suggestion is getting out into nature. Find a nearby park with beautiful flowers!

This blog is inspirational in a very personal way (not design). It is my sister in law’s.

    http://www.adailyscoop.blogspot.com/

She has updated it daily since she lost her 14 month old daughter in a drowning accident. Simply beautiful. And my other sister in law has a beautiful photography site:

Inspiration comes in many forms – this IKEA sideboard has oddly been keeping me going the past couple of days http://www.ikea.com/ca/en/catalog/products/50137920 I have planned everything around it!

I also found Abbey’s house tour completely inspiring, want to go home and purge all belongings as we speak http://www.flickr.com/photos/71112133@N00/sets/72157605963352260/

I hear you Jordan. Might it have to do with this sweltering hot weather and the smoky hazy air which all the newscasters are telling us is bad for our babies so we are stuck inside or shuffling from one air conditioned location to another? Or is that just me? Anyway, I hope you get your inspiration back…and I hope the Northern California wildfires get put out and the temperature goes down just a bit–not a lot, I like summer, but a little would be nice.

Like so many other people who have commented, YOU have been inspiring to me. I started a blog a couple of months ago after being hooked on your blog for quite some time: http://www.domesticreflections.blogspot.com. Also, one of my favorite writers (not about design, but about “the intersection between food and life”): http://www.teaandcookies.blogspot.com. I think you would find her writing extremely inspirational. Especially a post like this: http://teaandcookies.blogspot.com/2008/05/polenta-and-mushrooms-and-love-past.html
