Oh these brought back a memory for me. When I was in first grade my mom ordered me a set of personalized (pastel!) pencils that said: Katie Harris VSP. The VSP was supposed to stand for: very special person. Is that hilarious or what? What a neat, fun, and sweet gift!

Great find! I rushed to order them for teacher gifts, but was stunned to find that shipping on three dozen pencils was almost $15. Still might go ahead and do it, because they’re so darn cute, but…. yikes!

Shipping costs are a little pricy, but such a darling gift idea! I just bought a coloring pencil set for my 4 year old nephew with his name in gold. They also have pencil sharpeners on their website – I got him a cool racecar sharpener.

    I love your ideas!

I ordered 4 sets for girlfriends based on your post. They shipped the next day and arrived today. So cute, I don’t know if I will be able to wait until christmas to gift them. Charcoal type on yellow&orange combo, brown on pale pink and brown on lilac. The shipping IS high but with prices that low it’s hard to argue. Thanks for another great idea.
