In my quest for bedside lamps I had ruled out the sconce option early on because I am a renter and did not want to rewire the walls. But as it turns out Pottery Barn is making a whole line of plug in sconces. Maybe its just because my current bedside lamps are so tall but it always feels so unstable. I love the idea of a lamp that won’t tip over. Besides, there is never enough room on my bedside table and the lamp takes up a majority of the real estate. Granted, they don’t look as neat as the ones wired through the wall but that is something I’m willing to overlook. I’m sold.
