Like most things I blog about I realize pretty matches are fairly low on the “important things in this world to worry about” list. But with the weather getting cold I’m lighting candles more and more and I can either have pretty matches sitting on my mantle or a big box of these.

You can go one of two directions in the pretty match department. You can get deliberately pretty matches. Like these from Iomoi and Plum Party. Or you can go with something interesting and vintage looking. Like old ones from Ebay or these cool faux-vintage tins from Diamond. Or even cooler, just pick some interesting matchbooks up from hotels and restaurants when you go on vacation.
