Well, the truth is, I really want this hat. I know I would look RIDICULOUS if I ever left the house and that even though it looks really pretty on tv it wouldn’t look quite the same on ME in REAL LIFE. The nice thing about living in a big city is I wouldn’t be ridiculed for appearing in public like this, I would be just another weirdo in the crowd. I feel comfortable wearing normal sized flowers in my hair its just that this guy is so BIG.

When we were in San Francisco last week we saw two woman riding a bicycle in your neighborhood wearing big circle skirts with tule under them, one in black and one in white. They both had black and white things on their heads that looked like this flower. I think they had their faces painted black and white too, sort of mime-like. Too bad we live in a time when normal people don’t put stuff on their heads. It’s so much fun!

there was a girl in church today that had a flower half the size of this one in her hair, and i only made fun of her a little. i bet you could get away with it.
