Giant Googly Eye Balloons

Kids aren’t the only ones who love googly eyes. They’re the best for adding a bit of fun to everyday objects. You can stick a pair on the fridge, the mailbox, or a carton of eggs. We love them so much, we decided to combined them with our other great obsession: balloons!

They’d be a great surprise to brighten someone’s day. Or as super easy DIY decor for your googly eye themed party (see our party for inspiration here!). The best part is that they move around when you do. You can even spin them around to give someone a giant eye-roll…

Materials needed: 3’ Balloon (in Diamond Clear), 11” balloon (in black), balloon hand pump, helium, ribbon, scissors

Step 1: Insert an 11” black balloon inside a 3’ diamond clear balloon. Be sure to hold onto the tail of the black balloon so it doesn’t slip away!
Step 2: Inflate the black balloon with a balloon hand pump until it is round in shape. The clear balloon will take on the shape of the black balloon. Knot the black balloon and trim off the tail so it’s completely round.
Step 3: Inflate the clear balloon with helium until it looks clear and then knot it.
Step 4: Tie a ribbon around the tail of the clear balloon and trim to desired length. All done!
