Cooking During the Holidays

Between parties, family dinners, and work events, our schedule during the holiday season is crazy. The last thing I want to think about is meal planning and grocery shopping….

Cooking During the Holidays | Oh Happy Day!

Enter Blue Apron. I’ve been using their service for over a year and it’s become a staple in our home (especially this time of year.) It allows us to make and eat great, healthy, home-cooked food (in 40 minutes or less!) without having to plan a shopping list or visit the grocery store. I know that once a week, a refrigerated box of fresh food will show up on our doorstep. Each week the recipes are different, so I’m not making the same things over and over (this week we made Garlic Herb Butter Shrimp, but I’ve been eyeing this Poached Pear & Goat Cheese Salad and Spiced Salmon & Cranberry Chutney.)

I know that one of biggest concerns people have with Blue Apron is their food packaging. But today I’m excited to announce that Blue Apron has launched a new recycling program! You can use their locator to find the best recycling options for your community (OR return your packaging to Blue Apron via USPS for free.) If you haven’t tried out Blue Apron yet, I highly recommend it! Plus, today the first 50 reader who sign up will get 2 free meals off their first Blue Apron order. Click here to get all the details!

So, will you try it??

You opened my eyes to a new world. Blue Apron you said? I didn´t know it existed!! Such a great idea! Just a question: it doesn´t work in Italy as well, right?

O, and what you cooked looks so yummy and tasty at the same time: magic!

Please ask them to come to the UK! I could sign up a zillion people. All of my US friends are talking about this and I am jealous.

We love Blue Apron in our house. That’s pretty much how we all survived my daughter’s first 6 months of life.
