And the award goes to….Mom! Of course, who else?! These little party store trophies get a new life as a sweet token for Mom. Because they’re so easy to make, you can give them to all the moms in your life – friends, sisters, moms, step-moms, mom-in-laws….perfect for place settings or to give out at a Mother’s Day brunch. I filled them with fresh miniature flowers, but you could also fill with them with tissue paper flowers and pop them in the mail.

Materials: Mini trophies (I got mine at the dollar store), spray paint, paper, scissors, glue

Step 1: Spray paint the trophies in a well-ventilated place. Let dry.
Step 2: Print out the words “Best Mom Ever Award” – I used a 14 pt. script font.
Step 3: Cut out around the words so you have a 1 1/2″ x 5 3/4″ strip of paper.
Step 4: Cut notches into each end.
Step 5: Curl each end with scissors.
Step 6: Insert through the handles, add a tiny dab of glue to hold in place.
Step 7: Fill with miniature flowers (I used wax flowers, pansies, mini daffodils, and white stock).
