Letterpress Craft Night

I’m happy to announce a new letterpress craft night on April 25th! I decided to try something different for this month. My kids go to a really great (yet underfunded) community preschool. I have been wanting to do some sort of fundraiser for them and decided it would be fun to host a craft night at our studio. This will be exactly like the other craft nights (same awesome gift bags, learn to letterpress, take home 20 letterpress greeting cards) but there isn’t a title sponsor this time and tickets will be sold for attendance. 100% of the proceeds from the evening will be donated to a not-for-profit preschool.

Go here to purchase your tickets. If you would like the cost of your ticket to be tax deductible please bring a check the night of the event (and your online purchase will be refunded.)

If you are new to Oh Happy Day, Craft Nights are where I invite people into our art studio in San Francisco and we learn something new.

That sounds really cool! If I lived near you I would definitely try to come. Alas, I am half a country away in rainy old Chicago, so cannot make it.

I love that you’re doing this for your kids’ preschool! Way to be a super cool mama!! I wish I could go, but I doubt you’d want a lady who could go into labor at any minute there… 🙂 Have tons of fun!

Any chance you’ll do one of these this summer, say between June 20th and July 15th? I’ll be visiting family in California during those dates and would LOVE to come with my sister!!!

I’m doing a retreat soon and would love to hear how you made the bags. Would you recommend the service/printer you used? That would be SWELL! Your site is so inspiring. Gracias!
