Parties to Pretties – Get Messy!
Last night, I had a few friends over for dinner – and we each made our own individual pizza! It was SO fun to all be in the kitchen together getting our hands messy and preparing our dinner. Bringing that interactive factor to the meal made the evening more diverse and playful! The aftermath was definitely a bit more messy but totally worth it!! The only thing I wish we had at the end of the evening was little to-go boxes for everyone so they could take the left-overs of their creation home!!

I love the board + oil combo, it’s definitely something I need. I hate using my counter. I’m too poor haha.

Same thing for dinner last night and I had the same thought about the to-go boxes. Ha!
My neighbor always has nights for all her friends to come and make individual pizzas… I love it! It’s a great way to get people that don’t know each other together and interacting over common food!
That sounds so fun! And I love the idea of the to-go boxes. Your pictorial is very cute. I like seeing things laid out that way.
How fun! I’m planning on gifting my guy a Valentine’s Day cooking class for two! The interactive factor is definitely more memorable!
I’ve done this before but I just love that you included an adorable take home box with twine. It’s the details that make things like this so amazing and sweet!
I host one of these once a month! They’re so much fun and everyone ends up having a blast!
that is such a fun idea. what a great way to spend an evening with friends. i would love to plan a dinner party like this. and i love the brown paper. simple & effortless.
fun! i used brown paper at my son’s birthday party–i loved how neutral it was (and affordable) plus the kids were able to draw on it.
I love this idea- sounds like it takes the pressure off of creating a perfect meal for everyone. And everyone can be a little creative- must try this next.
I love parties where you can make things! Getting messy is so fun!
That’s a nice twist on parties!
Sounds like a really fun get-together. I might just have to steal your idea.

I’m loving this! What a great idea!
Love your blog!
I’d appreciate if you stopped by Tulips&Tulle soon!
It’s much more fun cooking with friends and even better if you have pizza at the end of it! I love your blog
Such a great idea! We went to a party last month where the host did this, and it was so much fun.
We’ve been obsessed with homemade pizzas. Every Friday night I get both whole wheat & regular doughs, a ll kinds of crazy topping and somehow, it all works together! The kids love it and the hubby has now perfected his “meat madness” creation. F U N!
Love the board and board oil. They are handmade in my town by some of the most wonderful people & talented craftsmen you could imagine. Beautiful!!!
