Treats Day 5: Whoopie Pies
For the last day of thank you treats we sent over a big box of Whoopie Pies to Mark. I love me a good whoopie pie and Susie Cakes makes excellent ones. Mark said they were well received, “I almost lost an arm in a frenzy of developers when I opened the SusieCakes box.” I haven’t missed very many American foods but I sure could go for a Whoopie Pie about now.

Yum! I saw these on a food network special a couple years ago and have been wanted to try them ever since!

Mmm. My mom made them my whole life, but we called them Black Moons. More often than not, they were my birthday treat of choice.

A coworker turned me onto Susie Cakes and has become a favorite. Can’t imagine how good their whoopie pies are, so good thing I get to go down to LA tomorrow!
Whoopie pies are the new trendy treat now aren’t they? I am just dying to try them! It’s definitely on my summer to do list!
