My San Francisco Apartment: Bedroom

Our San Francisco bedroom never totally felt finished to me but we ran out of time to make changes (we had to move) so it is what it is. I love our Dwell bedding which I purchased right after it came out. I guess I was on the same wavelength as every other person out there because I’ve seen it in lots of home tours. The drapes are pinch pocket drapes I made with fabric Jenny sent me. The vintage paintings I’ve picked up at flea markets and thrift stores and a couple on ebay, I never quite finished it.

See our Living Room right here.

Sources and Notes: Bed from Room & Board | Bedding from Dwell |Drape Fabric by Thomas Paul |Yellow Lamps from Ebay | Chevron Frame from Furbish | Vintage Persian Rug from Craigslist | Artwork in small white frame by my friend Sunny Belliston | Faux Bamboo Dresser from Ebay | Bench and Nailhead Chair from Craigslist

(ps the dresser photo was pulled in from earlier last year so the artwork and lamp make a repeat appearance.)

I am in love with your nightstands and have been kicking myself since for not buying them (was in the process of moving and not sure what my new set-up would be).

I have that draper stripe Dwell bedding as well (and 800 other Dwell things as I used to work for them) and it never gets old! It’s so classic and goes with every one of my decorating phases:)

Everything looks wonderful. I remember years ago that you had an armoir that you redid. What happened to that? I’d love to see it again or hear how your refurbished it!

I can relate to that unfinished feeling in the bedroom. It has been the case in this current house – it sorta became the room where un-used furniture from around the house ended up.
Your room looks finished (to the untrained eye. Haha.). I like the grey chest of drawers!
