My friend Sharon is in town from New York so we went to a beautiful cafe here in the 7th called Pain et Chocolat this morning for breakfast. Lindsey from Lost in Cheeseland took me here a few weeks ago and I loved it so much I couldn’t wait to go back. It is half a block from Rue Cler. The owners are adorable, the food is impeccable and the presentation is gorgeous. I highly recommend this place for brunch.

I've continued to follow your blog since leaving San Francisco last year and moving to Amsterdam. I took your advice and tried Pain et Chocolat for breakfast during an Easter weekend trip to Paris last weekend. It was wonderful! Such a great find 🙂

Oh, what a pleasure to see Pain & Chocolat ! It was my Quartier Général when I lived in Paris, so close to this salon de thé…
Did you go to l'Auberge Bressane" ? It is just beside Pain & Chocolat, and you eat very very well…
