New Face
I realized this morning I hadn’t ever posted pictures of Roman post-surgery. This picture is from 10 days after his operation. The surgery went well and it is kind of amazing how fast he healed. We love his new little face.
Also, in case you missed it, here are some “before pictures” and here is the post when we found out he would be born with a cleft.

Congratulations on a smooth recovery! He was beautiful "before" and he's beautiful now! It's those eyes. He knows his audience. He is such a handsome guy, and you can see an impish sparkle in those eyes. You must be loving every little bit of him!

Roman looks like he has an "old soul" (in French we use the expression "une vieille âme"; I don't know if it can be used in englisg also…), like he is wise beyond his age. So sweet!
Doctors are amazing. What a miracle it is that they can fix something on a baby so small.
