Church Spring Party 2008
This year we did a birthday theme. Here is the flyer for the event. {We put it together real quick but it turned out cute.}
The tablecloths the church owns are red so our color palette options are a little limited. We tied a red balloon on every chair and then I made a bunch of different party hats. Everyone looked so cute and festive in their hats. We also set up a little backdrop with a few props and had people get their pictures taken in front of it. It was a lovely night. {Thank you to Brooke and Christian for babysitting!} Total cost of decorating supplies: $60. The main costs were renting a small helium tank and paper goods.

The party hats are soooo gorgeous…! Your creative brilliance is top-notch!
This looks so fun-I can’t imagine anyone walking in and not instantly having a child-like smile and giddiness.
I love your ideas! My son is turning one in a week, and I’m trying to think of some cute yellow decorations, or something to do with polka-dots. Any ideas?? I’d love to get your thoughts!!
Very cute, Jordan
I love it! The hats are so cute!
Those hats are fantabulous! Great work!

So great!
again, i say to you: prepare to never be released from your calling. like EVAH.
Those party hats are as cute as can be! Why didn’t I ever think of using ribbon instead of elastic string?
You should have a hat how-to! They’re just darling!

A HAPPY party. Looks very red, very fun!
What a great Relief Society Birthday Party! The hats are pretty as well as the color selection. It is so nice that church parties are becoming pretty and tasteful. This year we had the best planning group. They had Great decor and the most delicious chicken salad on croissants & a wonderful spinach strawberry and walnut salad.

Jordan,
I love your blog! I stop by often to see what fun crafty things you are up to. I too am looking for some creative ways to liven up my house but I get a little overwhelmed with all the details. I wanted to see if you know of any good (not to expensive) decoraters in the Houston TX area that could help. Thanks so much!
Beautiful! It’s so nice to see a R.S. birthday party that doesn’t include pioneer dress, or oil lamps. I have recently been called as the new Enrichment Leader for our ward, and am so excited to use your blog as inspiration. Does anyone know any other good places to get Enrichment ideas?
very cute, jordan. now when you get here you need to help me plan jared’s birthday party
are you the enrichment leader? very cute.
Oh darling!
Please tell us how you made those darling party hats!
everything looks great!
Would love to see a hat how-to as well!
I’m assuming it was the Relief Society Celebration party. Next year can you have yours before ours…so I can use your ideas? j/k
And how did you make those fantastic “balls” for last year’s party?
What a cute idea. It turned out great. I love those hats.
Jordan…you are beyond talented…I should just hire you to do my kids party’s.Moses is in for an amazing childhood!
Can you post some instructions on the party hats, please?

cutest church party i have ever seen. great fun.
Oh my gosh… I wish we had a budget to do something like that in my RS. We currently have NO budget, which makes my calling not so fun, since all of our money goes to activities committee. Can you tell I’m in a singles ward?
Those party hats are delightful!
It really did turn out cute! Love the party hats.
I just discovered your blog and am hooked already. I think someone already asked this, but I really loved those frou frou fantastic tissue balls from your party last year. How do you make those?
