I’ve been looking for accents to finish decorating the bedroom. We still need: sconces, a rug, pillowcases, a quilt, and art. They are things that all need to be decided together. I’m thinking about this quilt for a pop of color at the foot of the bed. {It is only $34!}

Thumbs up. And the lampshade in the photo is a luscious color.
If you want some versatility, one thing I did and loved was to get a lightweight down comforter and then change out the duvet covers on laundry day. Excellent sources for both are at http://www.thecompanystore.com, and nice choices in sheets and duvet covers at http://www.garnethill.com (the flannel sets are to-die-for cozy). Both sites have good sales, as well. Happy decorating!

I’ve been a huge fan of that for a while, it just doesn’t work anywhere in my house. Sigh…
Just to warn you though, I believe I remember it being just a single layer of fabric, not a quilt per se – more of a bedspread. Lovely for spreading over the top of a blanket, but no insulating powers of its own. I may be wrong though, check your local urban to confirm…

I saw this quilt a couple of weeks ago, I too fell in love with it…I think it is a great way to add a splash of color…and you can’t beat that price.

Hey there! I have this same bedspread and its on a platform bed like in the pic. It is very beautiful and spices up my void of color room. Only problem is like one of the commenters said below. It is very thin and needs to be layered over a blanket for the winter. Other than that it is beautiful! Good choice. Lulu
