My new obsession

Abbey sent me a link to her blog and now I’m obsessed with the couch she has on her header. I think it would be perfect in our new apartment. I just learned that for $25 Room & Board will send someone out to your home to test if a certain piece will fit or not before you buy it.

They also charge a flat fee for delivery for multiple pieces and do free in-home repairs if things get dinged on their way over (as mine did). My only complaint is that their upholstery foam doesn’t keep it’s shape for very long.

Thanks for the link — clearly I’m obsessed with the couch too! I can’t say enough good things aboug it, except that we had to have Dr. Sofa come remove the legs to get it into our home… I’m petitioning them to change the design of the legs to be removable!

I think the upholstry will be very durable as well. My grandmother has these very amazing purple velvet chairs that have been and still are as beautiful as new.

LOVE that sofa!!! I’ve been lusting after it for awhile. I love how long it is. And that blue! Gorgeous!

One of the great things about living in Minneapolis is that the Room and Board outlet is here, in our own fair town! We own 2 pieces from R & B outlet which have served us well. Even with 2 boys who have spit up, pee’d on, jumped and wrestled upon them.

Now that is a great couch. Don’t show pictures of it to your old couch; it will only hurt old couch’s feelings.

Or you could save 25 bucks and use a measuring tape!
