I totally tried to make that recipe last weekend (cherry vanilla) but I screwed it up big time with my brand new kitchen-aid. The paddle wasn’t set properly in the bowl so it didn’t scrape properly. Anyway, when I was at the bottom of the cupcake batter, there was all this sugar there, so the cupcakes tasted more like hard, tasteless muffins.
The cherry filling was super good though.
